Lack of regular, clock-face Dart Services to Bayside\/Sutton\/Howth<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 2. Very low Dart frequency in the evenings especially Sunday evenings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No progress on either of these.&nbsp; The issue is as set out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidhealy.com\/index.php?option=com_content&#038;task=view&#038;id=197&#038;Itemid=40\" target=\"_self\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe only explanation I can come up with is that IE have decided to save<br \/>\na few euros by having one fewer driver on the evening shift.&nbsp; The<br \/>\nresult from the point of view of a resident of Bayside, Baldoyle,<br \/>\nSutton or Howth is that planning to get a Dart from town in the evening<br \/>\nis a much less attractive option than it was 20 years ago, with waits<br \/>\nof 40 minutes on weekdays and 1 hour on a Sunday.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 3. Integrated ticketing between Dart and Bus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nothing.&nbsp;<br \/>\nTalk about new systems.&nbsp; No explanation as to why the existing system<br \/>\nwhich both DB and IE use at the moment is not used to provide<br \/>\nintegrated tickets.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 4. Blocking of disabled access to Howth Junction Station<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Astonishingly IE appeared not to know what I was talking about.&nbsp; Fortunately, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidhealy.com\/index.php?option=com_content&#038;task=view&#038;id=142&#038;Itemid=40\" target=\"_self\">Dublin City Council understands<\/a> the issue and has put in planning conditions to address it, and Fingal County Council is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidhealy.com\/index.php?option=com_content&#038;task=view&#038;id=201&#038;Itemid=40\" target=\"_self\">taking enforcement action<\/a> as although most of the station is in Fingal&#8217;s area, no planning permission has been sought for it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 5. Development potential at Howth Junction Station<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 6. Underpass at Bayside Station<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 7. Layout of car parking and access to beach at Howth Station<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 8. Parking enforcement at bus stop on Howth Station forecourt<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 9. Online timetable failing to show connections which can be made at Howth Junction. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dublin Bus<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 1. 31C service waiting on the road outside Howth Dart Station<br \/>\nblocking views of the pedestrian traffic lights and of crossing<br \/>\npedestrians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Issue not resolved.&nbsp; This significant traffic hazard remains.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp; 2. Routing of buses on Howth Peninsula &ndash; potential to extend<br \/>\nthe 17A to travel along Kilbarrack Road through Sutton Cross, over<br \/>\nHowth Summit to Howth Dart Station.(with extra buses on the route of<br \/>\ncourse) instead of the 31B.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Because only Clontarf Garage (31s) and not Harristown (17A) was represented at the meeting we couldn&#8217;t get any update on this.<\/p>\n<p>There are some planned changes to the buses in the area.&nbsp; All are<br \/>\nawaiting approval from the Department of Transport, many for long<br \/>\nperiods of time.&nbsp; There is no formal input from Councillors.<\/p>\n<p>The 29A will extend along Grange Rd to a new terminus in Abbey Park.&nbsp;<br \/>\nWhen this happens, the 32B will no longer go into Abbey Park, but<br \/>\ntravel straight through to Portmarnock.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a new route 128 from the area of the new train station<br \/>\n(near Fr.
