Letter from Green Fingal Councillors to Chief Executive in relation to enforcement of night flights cap at Dublin Airport

The Fingal Councillors have written to the Chief Executive asking her to apply for the lifting of the stay placed on the enforcement notices issued requiring Dublin Airport to comply with the conditions of its 2007 planning permission.

Dear AnnMarie,
We hope this correspondence finds you well.
We welcomed the enforcement notice issued to the DAA regarding breaches of Condition 5 of the Planning Permission for the North Runway (Planning Authority Reg Ref No: F04A/1755 / ABP Ref No: PL 06F.217429) in relation to night-time flights at Dublin Airport.
The decision by the DAA to seek a stay on the enforcement notice is frustrating as it renders it useless until proceedings are finished. We are therefore asking that the Planning Authority, and you, in your capacity as Chief Executive, apply to have the stay lifted to allow the enforcement notice to take effect in six weeks time.
Kind regards,
Ian Care
